2. Apr – June
This period of time is unpredictable as the season transforms from spring to summer. The weather is dry and hot in south and southern coast. Vietnamese families usually take a trip to beach spots like Nha Trang, Ha Long and Quy Nhon. It is a good time to take part in summer activities on beaches or go to Hue during Hue festival often in May or June.

3. July – early Sep
In terms of weather, July to early September is a wet and hot period. For those who love beach and mountain retreats, Vietnam is a great place to visit which sees a record high in tourist volume in popular destinations like Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, etc. Lines after lines of travelers, fully booked hotels and food price rockets, and the worst of it all – tourist spots of all sorts will be crammed with people.

4. Mid-Sep to Dec
The perfect time to visit the north of Vietnam and other provinces nearby because the weather is cool and the wind is gentle. Yes, it is great to go to Hanoi which will charm you like what Paris and other romantic capitals usually do. Or see the beautiful colors of terraced rice paddy field in Sapa.
Cool air will make the trip more enjoyable – walking or strolling, you might love it all!
