Nha Trang, the name is quite familiar for tourists when visiting Vietnam. It is famous for its beaches, diving sites and offshore islands. This place is described as a sweeping crescent beach of white sand with an impressive promenade dotted with parks and sculpture gardens. Travelling here, you will experience many sedate activities like a mud-bath spa treatment, a boat tour on a river or a visit to the ancient Cham towers in the north of the central Nha Trang.

1. Po Nagar Cham Towers
This spot is quite famous in Nha Trang with its architecture and art style, which has spread widely across the country for a long time. Many tourists have supposed that there is great similarity between Angkor Wat and the Po Nagar Towers.
Compared to the original design, the towers have nowadays a few differences. They are truly beautiful and charming with their unique deity. The central tower is in honor of Cri Cambhu who blesses devotes with fertility. The northwest tower is in honor of Sanhaka, a wood cutter and foster father and the tower in the south was dedicated to Ganeca, the daughter of Ponagar.
You can take some pictures with the fantastic views of Cai River and the village on the riverside. This place is really interesting to discover the hidden charm of the Cham people’s culture.
2. Nha Trang Cathedral
Nha Trang Cathedral is the largest church in the city, which is locally known as the stone church or Nui Church. This spot is made entirely of stone and features beautiful stained glass windows, and a square clock tower surmounted by a large crucifix. Outside, the cathedral will impress you with numerous statues of saints as well as 4000 tombstones mounted on the sides.
This place is well worth a visit, and you should check the opening hours. It is very nice to take some photos, especially the Gothic interior of the ceiling which reminds tourists of the Notre Dame of France. Moreover, it is also popular for wedding and landscape photography.
3. Long Son Pagoda
Long Son Pagoda, also known as Chua Long Son, is famous for its large white Buddha image. Built in 1886 in the style of Taoist architecture, this pagoda has been home to many high-ranking Buddhist monks and boasts beautiful and unique Taoist architecture characterized by the mythical animals and sculptures, featuring designs of mosaic dragons made with glass and ceramic tiles.
An impressive three-tier roofed entrance leads to the temple grounds decorated by potted topiary. It is an amazing site to climb up the 152-step stairs and reach the main attraction to explore the 24m tall Buddha Statue on lotus blossom at the top of the hill. A stunning view on the surroundings appears from the top of the climb. Rejuvenate at the stall selling coconut juice and coconut jelly before you head to the next destination. How cool it is!
4. Hon Mun Marine Park
As part of Nha Trang Bay, Hon Mun Marine Park is one of the most attractive tourist attractions thanks to diverse marine ecosystems. Actually, this spot is regarded as representative of Vietnam’s south central bio-geographic zone. Its biodiversity levels can be compared to those of the global center of coral diversity, within Eastern Indonesia, Philippines and Spratly Islands. You will experience unforgettable moments when taking part in the world of shimmering colors.
I would like to highlight good points here: crystal blue water and uninterrupted view of the sky. It is the best place to go diving to see coal reefs, not really swimming because rocks are sharp and there is no sand beach. However, the bad point here is that it is so crowded to visit, especially many Chinese tourists and looks like a mess. It will take more time to pass the bridge leading to the gate.

5. Vinpearl Land
Famous for a massive entertainment hub, Vinpearl Land Amusement Park is the must-visit tourist destination when travelling to Nha Trang. It contains many sections, including an outdoor water park, outdoor and indoor arcade centers, an aquarium and shopping street. Just about a 20-minute drive from Ong Lang Beach, it also boasts spectacular displays of lights, music, water acrobatics and other outdoor activities like horse-riding, motor-racing and shooting.
You will experience interesting moments to watch daily street performances, water musical shows, mermaid shows, falsh mobs and traditional dances. Or stop by some souvenirs at Shopping Street, from beachwear to authentic jewellery and handicrafts. Also, the cable car is an amazing experience and this place offers a wide variety of dining options, including European and Asian Buffets at Deli Land. I highly recommend you to visit this park 🙂
6. Dai Lanh Beach
Dai Lanh Beach, a broad sweep of sand between two dramatic headlands, is a strikingly beautiful landmark for tourists to visit. Surrounded by lush mountains and chalky sand beach, this place features pristine waters and natural beauty. A fishing village nestles at one end of the bay and a shady stand of casuarina trees comes at the other. It sounds idyllic, and from a distance, it is. The beach is an ideal spot for swimming.
7. Ba Ho Waterfalls Cliff Jumping
Known as Suoi Ba Ho, Ba Ho Waterfalls Cliff comprises of three natural waterfalls that ends with a clear lake surrounded by a dense rainforest, It takes about 30 minutes to walk through the foliage to the first waterfall before climbing over large rocks to reach the second and third waterfalls. Just make sure that you wear proper shoes and bring extra clothes before making your way here.
These falls are well worth a visit because they are very gorgeous and the hike is so much fun. There are some fairly dangerous spots during the hike, so it would not recommend taking any young children. Nice stroll and sometimes a bit of easy rock climbing. They are quite comparable to Da Lat ones. Explore them if you have a chance!
